Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, David trained at the Technikon Pretoria Dance and Musical Theatre Department, attaining a Diploma with distinctions in both acting and singing. He has performed in most mediums within the entertainment field and was selected to represent SA at the 1999 World Championships of the Performing Arts in Los Angeles, where he took top honours in the acting and singing categories.

Highlights in his early years of performing include working with Emmy Award-winning Director/Choreographer, the late Alan Johnson, on the South African National Tour of West Side Story and appearing in the South African Premiere of the hit musical La Cage Aux Follies. He has been fortunate to appear as an MC, Singer, Actor and Dancer for numerous high profile corporate clients since graduating.

As Creative Producer and Show Director, David has also managed artists/talent for a variety of top companies and high-profile events, both in his country and abroad.

These include Dubai, the USA, the UK, France, Italy, India, Hong Kong, Macau, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Australia, Nigeria, Zambia, Ghana, Burkina Faso, The Seychelles, Mauritius, including exclusively chartered Corporate Cruises in the Caribbean, Mediterranean and Baltic Sea.

Over the years David has had the pleasure and privilege of working with a variety of artists and speciality acts who hail from all corners of the globe. Many of them have appeared on television programmes the likes of Dancing with the Stars, Strictly Come Dancing, America’s Got Talent, Britain’s Got Talent, Spain’s Got Talent and The Voice Mexico, or featured in numerous productions staged around the world by the liked of Cirque du Soleil, Fuerzabruta and De la Guarda. Other personal highlights include his ongoing relationship as Patron and volunteer of NGO Education Africa which began in 1999.
